What is a Collaborative Team?

Many Collaboratiave family law cases include the participation of professionals other than the lawyers.  These professionals comprise the "team."  These professionals may include a Process Facilitator, a Financial Professional, and child specialist, appraiser, or another lawyer with expertise in a particular area of law releveant to the divorce case.  Attached is a brief description of a Collaboative team.

Professionals for Collaborative Family Law

Professionals for Collaborative Family Law (PFCFL) will meet on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., in the Barbara Jordan Conference room (2nd Floor @ 700 Lavaca).   All lawyers, financial professionals, and mental health professionals interested in Collaborative Family Law are welcome to attend.  We usually mix and mingle from 7:30 - 8:00, and at 8:00 we usually have a speaker or a pre-selected discussion topic.  PFCFL meets on the last Tuesday of each month.
